THE STORY OF The White Horse

Dating back to the 18th century, The White Horse is steeped in history, having formerly been a hotel and also a lemonade factory, a legacy the pub proudly continues with the production of its own soft drinks. A cornerstone of community life in Leamington Spa, residents and visitors enjoy being welcomed by the pub’s occupant full-size white horse!

Perched handsomely on Clarendon Avenue, The White Horse has been lovingly restored, blending sumptuous period features with upscale contemporary touches: wood panelling, leather furnishings and statement chandeliers combine to create an inviting, spacious bar area, whilst outside an archway leads to the pub’s best-kept secret – its delightful beer garden, offering the perfect spot foral-fresco dining or a glass of something special on a sunny day. During those chillier months, the open fire is kept roaring, giving a home-from-home feel.

Reflecting the rural feel of the area, The White Horse is all the more appealing during the summer months, with its charming beer garden offering ample comfy seating, sheltered tables, barbecue facilities and patio heating for those days when the weather is a little more Britain than Bahamas...

Ideally located for relaxation and refreshment after a visit to Leamington Spa’s Royal Pump Rooms, a trip to Warwick Castle or a walk around one of the region’s many green spaces, The White Horse is well-connected by public transport and undoubtedly worth venturing off the beaten track to visit.

A dog-friendly pub, The White Horse fosters a relaxed village vibe and holds the authenticity of a true British local close to its heart.
